Arizona Family Health

Dr. Chris Morris is a board-certified family medicine physician and co-founder of Arizona Family Health, a locally owned practice serving the West Valley. Born and raised in Arizona, Dr. Morris has dedicated his life to serving others — first as a U.S. Army combat medic, then as a Phoenix police officer and detective, and now as a trusted family physician.

Encouraged by his wife to follow his childhood dream of becoming a physician, Dr. Morris pursued medicine after years of public service. He attended Arizona State University and Northern Arizona University, earned his medical degree from A.T. Still University in Mesa, and completed his Family Medicine residency at St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center in Phoenix.

Dr. Morris provides comprehensive primary care for patients of all ages, from infants to seniors. His approach to medicine is rooted in listening, respect for individual values, and collaborative decision-making. He strives to minimize unnecessary referrals when appropriate and offers a wide range of in-office procedures as part of continuity-focused care.

In addition to traditional primary care, Dr. Morris has extensive experience providing supportive palliative and hospice care for patients and families facing serious or chronic illness, helping guide complex medical decisions with compassion and clarity. He has also served as a team physician for the Cleveland Guardians, supporting the primary care needs of players and affiliates in Arizona.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Morris is a devoted husband and father of three boys and is actively involved in supporting youth baseball and community programs in the West Valley, including his work with Valley of the Sun Baseball, a local 501(c)(3) organization.
